All intellectual property rights in this software, anywhere in the world, are owned by Ideal Building Energy. The rights to this software are licensed (not sold) to you. The software license grants the right to use it in accordance with the terms of this license. The license does not permit the resale, rental, loan, sublicense, or assignment of the software or any copy thereof, including any related documentation.

2. Warranty Disclaimer. This software is intended to calculate the thermal resistance of enclosed air spaces containing a reflective insulating layer. This software and any related documentation are provided "as is" without any warranties, either express or implied, other than the performance stated in the technical manual.

3. License Grant. The software is licensed per user (for a period of one year starting from the date of license purchase), not per computer, location, or company. This license is not transferable to any other system, organization, or individual. You may not remove any proprietary notices or labels from the software.

4. Reverse Engineering. You must not attempt to recompile, modify, translate, or disassemble the software in whole or in part.

5. Limitation of Liability. In no event shall Ideal Buildings Energy Office be liable for any special, incidental, indirect, or consequential damages (including, but not limited to, damages for loss of business profits, business interruption, loss of business information, or any other financial loss) arising out of the use of or inability to use the software. The licensed software is not designed, intended, or authorized for use in any system or application where a system or application malfunction could cause or contribute to personal injury or death.
